Malignant hypercalcemia is defined as the presence of high serum calcium concentrations in context tumor pathology. It most common cause hospitalized patients with solid tumors or hematological neoplasms where postulated mechanisms are bone metastases and / secretion factors that activate resorption by cells. can be detected a finding study asymptomatic associated severe clinical manifestations require urgent treatment. The therapeutic approach must carried out an interdisciplinary way aimed at normalizing calcemia, being important etiological diagnosis to adapt behavior long term avoiding future complications.
